Gosford Council’s Mayor, Jim McFadyen, GM, Peter Wilson, Director City Centre Development, Colleen Worth-Jennings and Advisor Economic Development, John Tilston, made a series of presentations to the local media on Thursday to update progress the revitalisation project and the business plan being developed to drive the process.
Colleen introduced Bill Kerr and his team of professional consultants with particular expertise in putting together packages that are grounded in commercial reality and that are the catalyst for redevlopment.
Bill’s team has been engaged by Council is currently examining options, crunching numbers and identifying specific opptortunities, but there is a lot of detailed work, including talking with landowners, that needs to be done before the investment market can be approached.
John briefed the group on GBID, which will be an important player in the process.
